Roles and Responsibilities

Jubilant FoodWorks is amidst transformation & expansion which will fuel the next level of growth. As part of the expansion plans we have recently launched a new business of consumer products (FMCG) to serve consumers in their homes. The business was launched under the brand name of ChefBoss and consists of a range of ready to cook gravies, pastes and cooking sauces as solutions to make Indian and Chinese food. Brand is available in ecommerce and modern trade.

  • Product development Develop products across categories. First develop the culinary recipes and then work with the commercialisation manager to jointly finalise the commercialised product within given costs.
  • Ideation Help the business work on ideas for future NPDs based on culinary exploration, competition, consumer trends, etc.
  • Continuous improvement – Continuously improve the ChefBoss range of products. Look for improvements basis competition benchmarking, consumer feedback, review and rating on Amazon/Big Basket.
  • Build culinary knowledge – Build knowledge on cuisines, regional taste preferences for better consumer understanding and future NPD ideas
  • Support marketing – Support marketing in promoting the product by doing recipe demos (online/off line), help with recipe video shoots, photo shoots, packaging, etc.

Key performance indicators (include but not limited to)

  • NPD project in pipeline as well as commercialise products.
  • Reviews, rating, repeats and other measurement parameters to judge product performance.
  • Overall presentation of products to retailers and consumers in the form of packaging and other marketing collaterals

Qualification

  • Hotel management graduate with at least 8 years of work experience.
  • Must have worked in a FMCG foods or related (like a flavour house) or any consumer product industry.
  • Any stint in a start-up environment or new business division within a large organization, will be useful.
  • Should be comfortable to be a one person team, therefore work independently without much supervision.
  • Commercial orientation
  • Be willing to travel.
