JFL wants to make EKDUM a national Indian food brand to reckon with. The role has a rich variety across, white space mapping, strategy, innovation and execution, this is opportunity where a person can scribble the signature as we intend to create history with the brand.


The Role: We are looking for the ops leader, who is not only passionate about food and great consumer service but takes dreams big and delivers bigger. Passionate, data driven leader who loves rigour in execution and takes pride in creating high performing ops organization.

  • The Ops leader will be responsible for store execution / training / driving the right P&L in store, driving great guest service - NPS.

  • Critical pillar of the business, the leader will be responsible for the P&L (Top line / Bottom line and COGS). KPI’s (i) Top line (ii) Food costs (iii) NPS and (Iv) Delivered quality. Achieve store level KPI’s and P&L

  • Responsible for the monthly/ quarterly target delivery and midterm strategy & budget planning.

  • Drive the store people agenda, through recruitment / training and development, keeping the energy at high levels

    for the store so they are engaged and deliver great results always.

  • The incumbent should be a leader who has a hunger to leave a lasting impact and most importantly is passionate about consumers and curious to solve problems and courageous to challenge the status quo. The person needs to works conjointly with stake holders and partner function – HR / Finance / Supply Chain / Product & IT and the corporate online and marketing function

  • Develops & executes store relaunch plan, drive growth and keep tight cost control. Have a strong hold on numbers and should be very high on analytics so that can check the inefficiency in P&L

  • People leadership, would be responsible for a large direct & indirect team. Would be responsible for providing them coaching & helping them to deliver great results and unlocking road blocks for them.

  • Lead Business review, managing the performance objectively, & driving performance driven accountability at every level


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualification – MBA with 10+ years of experience. Experience in leading large sales team and region.

  • Experience in restaurant, QSR business is a big plus

  • Highly entrepreneurial person with great communication & negotiation skills.

  • Critical hard skills – Business planning, good in budget and P&L management & S&OP management. Crafting strategy, high on analytics, efficient use of all MS office tools. Comfortable with large amount of data and importantly can use data to drive insights and cut the problem in small easy to understand solution.

  • Brings rigour in execution and drives harder execution on ground.

  • On a softer side, great team player, someone who can inspire the team for a common goal, can set really high standards for himself and the team. Should be High on adaptability, resourcefulness and learning agility

  • Experience in retail /food service retail or in managing an international business is a must
